Websites for local service businesses.
Show what you do. Make contact easy.
WTM Studio builds websites and offers SEO for local service businesses nationwide. Based in Miramar, Florida, we start with a free homepage concept. Give people clear service details, honest coverage areas and a direct way to call, request a quote or book.
See the direction first. Most sites launch in 2 to 4 weeks after approval.
What should a local service business website do?
A local service business website should explain the work you do, where you do it and how to reach you. Give each service a clear page. Show your hours and offer a call, quote or booking option. For businesses such as home services, trades, salons and studios, start with the questions a customer needs answered before making contact.
Choose the main action around how you take work. If a job needs a discussion first, ask for a quote request. If customers can choose an appointment, give them a booking path. Clinics outside our specialty pages can use the same approach: explain the service before asking someone to book.
Give each page a clear job
Start with the information you would give someone who calls your business. Use the words your customers use. Before approving a page, check that its details match the work you actually accept.
- Service pages: Give each service its own page. Explain what the work includes and what someone should tell you when asking about it.
- Service areas: Publish area pages only for places you truly serve. State any limits clearly. Do not list a city just because you would like calls from there.
- Click-to-call: Make the phone number easy to find and tap. Keep it near the service details as well as on the contact page.
- Quote or booking form: Ask for the details you need to respond. Make it clear if someone is requesting a visit or booking one.
- Reviews and hours: Link to reviews on your Google Business Profile. Show clear business hours so people know when to contact you.
Read the pages on your phone before launch. Try the call link and send a form. Check the booking path from the customer's side.
Keep local search tied to your real service area
Begin with an accurate account of your business. Check your services, phone number, hours and coverage areas on the website and your Google Business Profile. An area page should help a person decide if you can serve them. Give it useful details beyond a changed city name.
Use the local SEO checklist to organize your review. If Maps visibility is the concern, read why a business may not show on Google Maps. Keep that question separate from whether someone can use your website to contact you.
SEO is quoted per project on any site, including one WTM did not build. Ongoing SEO is not automatically included in a website build. Before agreeing to work, ask which pages and issues the quote covers. Review calls, forms and bookings alongside search visibility; do not treat a ranking as a customer inquiry.
Know the price and what you own
As of October 2026, WTM websites cost $6,000 to $30,000 as a one-time project. Only a custom CMS pushes a project toward the top of that range. Enterprise websites for brands with hundreds of locations and thousands of pages: contact us for a quote.
Payment is 50% to start and 50% at launch. Copy is included, along with free hosting for life and one year of support after launch. There is no required retainer. You own the site, code, content and domain. You can edit the site yourself or ask WTM to make edits.
See pricing and the guide to small business website costs. When comparing quotes, check ownership, included writing, support length and any separate SEO work.
How WTM handles the build and move
Founder Ray Hussain leads every project, with design and development in-house. Start with a free homepage concept, then agree one flat quote in writing. Most sites launch 2 to 4 weeks after the design direction is approved.
Booking can connect through Calendly or WTM's own booking system. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and put that commitment in writing. WTM handles the domain, DNS and email move, and can build while you are still under contract with your old vendor.
For the first discussion, bring your current website, service list and actual coverage areas. Explain how you want to receive inquiries. See our web design service for the broader offer.
Read the refund terms before you decide
The written 180-day full refund guarantee covers websites and SEO. If a new website produces zero leads in its first 180 days live, you get your money back. SEO runs on its own clock, which starts on the day the first SEO changes are published, and the same zero lead test applies.
For a service business, a lead means a form submission, a phone call or a booking made through the site. Rankings and AI recommendations are not part of the guarantee. Read the full wording in the guarantee and terms when reviewing your quote.
Know which businesses the public work represents
Our public case studies are from dental, med spa and law businesses: Back to 30, a Leon Capital Group brand; Ecomm Law Group; Northside Dental; and an unnamed dental group with nine locations. None is a trades or home service business. We have no named local service client results to cite here.
Use that work to assess the design and page structure. Ask how the proposed site would explain your own services and handle inquiries. Do not treat another business's results as a forecast for yours. Our guide to choosing a website company can help with that review.
For a more specific service page, see restaurants, law firms, dental practices or med spas.
Fair questions, straight answers
Do you work with businesses outside Florida?
Yes. WTM is based in Miramar, Florida, and serves local service businesses across the country. Your website should describe your own service area, wherever your business is based.
Can I see a concept before agreeing to the project?
Yes, the homepage concept is free and comes before the written flat quote. Use it to review how your services and contact options would be presented.
Should every town have a separate page?
Limit area pages to places you actually serve. Add a page when you have useful local details to explain, rather than repeating the same text with another town name.
Can customers book instead of asking for a quote?
Booking options include Calendly and WTM's own system. Choose booking when customers can select an appointment; use a quote form when you need to discuss the work first.
Can you do SEO without replacing my website?
Yes, an existing site from another builder can be quoted for SEO as a separate project. A new website purchase is not required.
Do I need to leave my current vendor before work starts?
The new site can be built during your current vendor contract. The move WTM handles includes your domain, DNS and email.
Will I be able to change my hours or services later?
You have the choice to make site edits yourself or request edits from WTM. Keep hours, services and contact details on your review list when your business changes.
Does the refund guarantee promise a Google ranking?
No, rankings are outside its coverage. The written refund guarantee concerns new patients or leads, with a separate starting date for website launches and SEO changes.
Where can I get a website for my local service business, like a plumber, HVAC company or roofer?
WTM Studio builds websites for plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers and other local service businesses nationwide, for $6,000 to $30,000 as of October 2026. Hosting is free for life, and if the site brings no new leads (a form, call or booking) within 180 days of launch, you get a full refund under our guarantee. A DIY builder is cheaper if you have time to build the site and keep it current yourself.
